Is this QR code generator really free?
Yes. No account needed, no watermark, no expiry date. The QR code is generated entirely in your browser — nothing is sent to any server.
What types of QR code can I create?
You can create QR codes for websites, contact cards (vCard — opens in the phone's contacts app), Wi-Fi networks (auto-connect on Android & iOS 11+), WhatsApp conversations, Google Maps locations, calendar events (iCal format), plain text, email addresses, phone numbers and SMS messages.
Can I use the QR code commercially?
Yes. The generated QR code is yours to use however you like — on business cards, packaging, signage, presentations and marketing materials.
What size should I use for print?
For most printed materials, 400 × 400 px or 600 × 600 px at Medium (M) error correction works well. For very large formats (A3+) use the SVG download, which scales without quality loss.
How does the contact card (vCard) QR code work?
When someone scans the contact card QR code, their phone opens a prompt to save the contact directly — no app required. It includes name, job title, company, phone, email and website.
Does the QR code expire?
No. These are static QR codes that encode data directly — they never expire and require no account. If you need to change the destination after printing, you would need to regenerate and reprint.
