About Overslep
A Portuguese technology company that works across the whole chain.
Overslep builds and looks after the technology businesses run on: the website, the software and automatic tasks behind it, and the servers it all runs on. We work from Guarda and Lisbon, in English and Portuguese, with clients in Portugal and the United Kingdom.
Who we are
Engineers who also understand the business side.
Most companies buy their technology in pieces: a website from an agency, hosting from a provider, automation from a freelancer, IT support from someone else again. Each piece works on its own, and the gaps between them are where enquiries get lost, sites slow down and problems bounce between suppliers.
We set Overslep up to cover those gaps. The same team plans the website, writes the software, connects your tools so they pass work to each other, and runs the servers underneath, so every decision is made with the whole picture in mind.
We also build software of our own, including Overslep Queue, a ticket and queue system for service counters. Running our own products every day keeps us honest about what it takes to keep software working.

People
Founder-led, and hands-on.
Overslep was founded by Pedro Brioso, who remains directly involved in the technical work. When you talk to us, you talk to the people who will design and build your system, not to an account manager relaying messages.
We share what we learn. In May 2025, for example, Pedro facilitated a session on alternatives to WordPress at the 1056 Tech Summit, hosted by the Polytechnic Institute of Guarda, and has co-authored research papers with researchers there.

Social responsibility
Good technology shouldn't depend on a big budget.
Since March 2022 we have offered reduced rates and practical help to social projects: non-profits, associations and small organisations doing work that matters to their communities.
