Build

Websites built to bring in business, and to keep working long after launch.

We design and build fast websites that everyone can use, on WordPress or made to measure. Enquiries go straight to the right person, and you can see what is working. We also host and look after the site ourselves.

The problem

Does this sound familiar?

  • Your site looks fine, but enquiries sit in an inbox until someone happens to notice them.

  • Every small change means calling a developer, if you can still find the one who built it.

  • It is slow on phones, hard to find on Google, and nobody can tell what it brings in.

Try it

See it on a phone, then on a computer

Real websites we built for clients and still run today. Switch between desktop and phone to see how each one adapts.

What you get

What we take care of

Everything below is part of the service. You get one team that knows how it all fits together.

  1. 01

    A plan before any design

We agree what the site must achieve, who it is for and which pages it needs, before anything is designed.

  2. 02

    Designed for your brand

Every page designed to fit your brand, for phones first and large screens second.

  3. 03

    WordPress or made to measure

WordPress when your team updates content every day. A custom build when speed is critical.

  4. 04

Easy for your team to update

Editing is set up around how your team works, with safeguards that keep every page consistent.

  5. 05

    Fast, especially on phones

We check speed against Google's own measures throughout the build, not just once at launch.

  6. 06

    Usable by everyone

People with disabilities can use it too: clear structure, everything works from the keyboard, you can always see which link or button is selected, and text is easy to read. We build to the WCAG 2.2 AA standard.

  7. 07

    Ready for Google

Clear page addresses, a site map for Google, information that helps Google show your business properly, and old addresses redirected to the new pages.

  8. 08

    Forms that go somewhere

Every enquiry is checked, then sent straight to your inbox, your customer list (CRM) or your sales process.

FAQ

Questions about web development

Straight answers. Anything else, ask us directly.

All questions and answers

Should I use WordPress or a custom-built website?

WordPress, if several people publish news, pages or posts every week. A custom build, if the site must connect to other systems in complex ways, meet strict speed requirements or work like an app. We recommend one once we understand what you need, and explain the trade-off in plain words.

Can you take over a website someone else built?

Yes. First we review how it is built: the code, the plugins (add-ons), the hosting and the security. Then we tell you what is worth keeping, what to fix first and what it would cost.

Do you write the text for the website?

Yes, if you want us to. Writing can be part of the project, or we work from material your team prepares. Either way, we plan every page and edit the text so it reads clearly and helps people find you on Google.

How much does a business website cost?

It depends more on what the site has to do than on how many pages it has. The main factors: how many different page layouts it needs, a custom design or an adapted ready-made theme, who writes the text and supplies the photos, how many languages, connections such as a CRM, bookings or payments, and moving content from an old site. After a short conversation, we send a written proposal with the cost of each phase. Running costs (domain, hosting, maintenance) are listed separately.

How long does it take to build a website?

It depends more on how quickly the texts, photos and feedback come in than on the building itself. A project goes through understanding what you need, page structure, design, build, adding the content, testing on real phones and computers, and launch, with old addresses redirected to the new pages. We agree the schedule in the proposal. Having your texts and photos ready early is what keeps it short.

Can I update my website myself?

Yes. Your team can change text, images, pages and posts in an editor set up around how you publish. Layout and new features stay with us, so nobody breaks the design by accident.

What does a business website need by law in Portugal?

A privacy notice, consent before any non-essential cookies, and your company's identification details. If you sell to consumers, it also needs a visible link to the electronic complaints book (Livro de Reclamações) and information about alternative dispute resolution, the out-of-court ways to settle a complaint. We build all of this into the site. The legal wording itself should come from your lawyer or accountant.

Talk to us about web development.

A few lines are enough. We reply personally, usually with a couple of questions or a time to talk. No obligation, no automated sales sequence.
